About Me

A woman sitting outdoors in front of a beige wooden wall, wearing a colorful, patterned dress and a light blue sun hat, holding a yellow drink with a straw, smiling at the camera.

My name is Gia Falbo (she/they), a non-diet registered dietitian specializing in the eating disorder and disordered eating spaces. I follow a trauma-informed approach, and use a counseling style that is empathetic, encouraging, and humorous. I am extremely passionate about helping folks heal their relationships with food, body, and mind and have also experienced finding my own food and body freedom. I particularly enjoy working with the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities.

My hope as a dietitian is to help others live free of food and body image concerns so that they may apply their newfound energy towards positive, meaningful areas of life. I strongly follow a weight-neutral approach and utilize the philosophies of Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size®, and body trust to help facilitate change that is uniquely right for each person. Together we will work on breaking free from diet culture and its harmful anti-fat beliefs, allowing you to discover body attunement, understand your body's natural cues and signals, and rebuild trust in yourself and your body.
